Is Scavland Coming to Switch?

Scavland is a Windows PC exclusive, distributed through Steam. There is no Nintendo Switch version, and NoShadow has not made any public announcement — on Steam news, their official social accounts, or their Patreon — about a Switch port being in development.

Why this question comes up

Scavland's pixel art style and top-down perspective are the kind of presentation that runs comfortably on Switch hardware, and plenty of similar-scale indie survival and RPG titles do eventually make their way to the platform after a PC launch. That's a reasonable pattern to expect from — but it isn't the same as an actual announcement, and we haven't found one.

What we know instead

NoShadow is a small studio — it grew from three people to about fifteen over the past year, according to the developer's own Patreon page — and Scavland only just entered Early Access on September 4, 2026. Early Access for the PC version is expected to run for a while yet based on early press coverage suggesting a 12–24 month EA period. A console or Switch port, if one ever happens, would realistically follow full PC release rather than launch alongside Early Access. That's a general industry pattern, not something NoShadow has stated specifically for Scavland — treat it as context, not a promise.

Bottom line

If you were hoping to play Scavland on Switch soon, the honest answer right now is: play it on PC, or wait and watch NoShadow's official channels. There's no confirmed timeline for a Switch version because there's no confirmed Switch version at all yet.
